Regardless of your past athletic experience or your current level of fitness, everyone who first comes to CrossFit Solent is provided with the opportunity to learn about basic techniques, terminology, pre-workout warm ups and exercises before participating in the regular WOD classes.
We provide 2 options for new members to learn the fundamentals.
If you have been training using CrossFit for 3 months or more, and would like to join CrossFit Solent, we offer a 1 off fast-track session with a coach to evaluate where you are in your CrossFit journey, and prepare you to join classes here at CrossFit Solent.

FREE TASTER SESSION
We provide a free introductory session which is designed to help you understand what we do, and why we do it, answer any questions that you may have, and provide your first exposure to a CrossFit workout.
You will gain instruction in some of the basic movements, and experience examples of how we scale workouts for each individual. These sessions are run once a month on a Saturday at 12.30. Join our Beginners Membership, or a 1-1 Introduction Course
These are for all people new to CrossFit, regardless of your previous athletic background. These 1-1 sessions will provide you with the techniques and skills necessary for maintaining safety and maximizing your results when you enter the group classes. The 1-1 will be scheduled with one of our Coaches at a time that works best for both parties. To book your 1-1, please get in contact with us via email at email@example.com.
The second option is to join our beginners membership. This membership gives you access to our three times weekly beginners classes (Monday 20.00-21.00, Wednesday 06.00-07.00, Saturday 11.00-12.00). These classes are designed to get you ready to join our WOD and specialty classes, and to make the most of your sessions with us. All new members are required to attend a minimum of 12 classes before joining one of our memberships. However if you would like to take things at a slower pace, then you can train on this membership for up to 3 months. To book onto this membership, please click the link below.
At CrossFit Solent we welcome drop-ins from other boxes. If you are dropping in for a 1 off session, our drop in fee is £10. You can pay for your drop in using the link below:
